Corporate investment boxset now on Prudential’s Knowledge TV

Brand new to Prudential’s Knowledge TV is a seven-part CPD-accredited ‘Corporate Investment’ boxset.

Many advisers have corporate clients who are retaining increased cash buffers in case of any downturn in their trade. But low interest rates mean that directors are becoming increasingly concerned about the poor returns from funds on deposit. This boxset seeks to understand directors’ overarching concerns and explores how bonds and OEICs are potentially suitable alternatives for corporate investors’ surplus cash.

Knowledge TV is Prudential’s on-demand library of videos containing industry updates, technical expertise and insight, and information about funds, tools and services.

Other CPD-certified boxsets available include the seven-part ‘Annual Allowance’ boxset, which covers the pensions tax relief system, money purchase annual allowance and tapered annual allowance. Also available are the seven-part ‘Trusts & Trustee Taxation’, covering the features of trusts, trustee duties and tax implications for both trusts and the trustees, and a four-part boxset on ‘Pensions & Death’, which covers the distribution and taxation of death benefits.

There are other resources on the channel including a series of panel discussions by Prudential’s technical experts, who cover a range of topics including annual allowance, death benefits and trustee investments, as well as market outlooks from our Prudential Portfolio Management Group (PPMG) team.
